Registration
Registration is open to all interested individuals 16 years and older. Utah teachers can earn either 1 or 2 USOE credits by participating in the half-day or full-day conference. For more information, scroll to the bottom of this page. Only those registered may attend the conference; we cannot accommodate children or infants.

Full-day conference—tuition includes a week-long morning workshop (20 hours) of your choice; a Thursday lunch with your workshop group and faculty member; and all afternoon sessions, including the keynote address and book signing. Utah teachers can earn 2 USOE credits by pre-reading faculty members' books and participating in the full-day conference; scroll down to the bottom of this page for registration details. Tuition is non-refundable; make sure to read the tuition policy at the end of this page before registering. |

Registration Deadline

To Register for the Conference:
- Scroll through the conference options below. Select the specific workshop you would like to attend (full-day conference) or the afternoon sessions option (half-day conference) by clicking the Add to Cart button.
- Click on the Google Checkout button. This will take you to Google Checkout, where you can complete a secure transaction by entering your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.
- Once your registration goes through, we will contact you at the email address you provided during checkout with conference check-in details, as well as information on what materials to bring to your workshop.
USOE Credit Option for Utah Teachers
Utah teachers can earn either 1 or 2 USOE credits for participating in this year’s conference.
Writing and Illustrating for Young Readers (#10458490, 2 credits), a week long conference on writing the picture book, middle reader, or young adult novel. Teachers must attend all sessions of their morning class (20+ hours) and all afternoon classes (15+ hours), as well as doing pre-reading of faculty members’ books in order to complete the requirements for the 2 USOE credits.
To register for this class/credit, select whichever full-day conference morning workshop you are interested in attending (e.g., the beginning writing for young readers class, a picture book workshop, the chapter book workshop, or the illustration workshop). Then, email your Cactus Number and name, along with course #10458490 to foryoungreaders@gmail.com. Utah teachers get a $25 discount on the full-day conference if registering between April 1 and June 11, 2010. Please email us for more information.

Tuition Policy
Tuition is non-refundable. If you can’t make it to the conference, feel free to arrange for another individual to attend in your place. Contact us at foryoungreaders@gmail.com to let us know the name and email address of the individual you would like your tuition to be transferred to. If the conference is canceled for any reason, we will refund your tuition.
